FESTIVAL OF
THE LION KING
(Performance One)

On Tuesday 7th November 2000 (the day America went to the polls) I went to see a show called the FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING.

The show, which took place in a barn type theatre at ANIMAL KINGDOM, included people on stilts, fire juggling, acrobatics, very colourful costumes, and most importantly the songs from THE LION KING sung live.

The songs included were "CIRCLE OF LIFE", "I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO BE KING", "BE PREPARED", "HAKUNA MATATA", and "CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT", plus a song not from the film, but still fitted in nicely, "THE LION SLEEPS TONGHT".

The whole show was about 30 minutes long.
